ITANAGAR, Feb 19: The Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission has imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on Pangin DDSE Tanyang Tatak for not complying with Section 7(1) of the RTI Act and knowingly giving incorrect, incomplete, and misleading information in connection with appeal Case No APIC-195/2018 made by one Tagar Mibang.
The commission has directed the officer to appear before the SIC on 19 March, along with a deposited copy of the treasury challan, including the information sought by the complainant, failing which, it said, it would invoke Section 20(2) of the RTI Act.
