Media houses struggle to publish as internet is shut down in capital

ITANAGAR, Feb 24: The media houses in the capital complex are struggling to publish reports on the ongoing situation in the capital as the newspapers are unable to either publish news or put it up on their websites and the social media since internet services have been shut down.
Although the media houses are working more or less 24×7 since Friday – despite journalists on the field facing mounting troubles while carrying out their duties – to bring news to the public, the lack of internet services, coupled with the ongoing tension outside, has made it impossible to do so.
Internet services were temporarily restored at around 1 pm on Sunday, but were cut off shortly afterwards, and it is not known when the services will be restored again.
