BOMDILA, Mar 27: The Bomdila Bar Association has called off its boycott of proceedings of the additional district and sessions court here, covering West Kameng, East Kameng and Tawang districts, after the state government cleared the court’s lawyers’ outstanding bills.
The association had earlier approached the government, seeking disbursement of long pending bills of the court’s public prosecutors and state defence lawyers to the tune of above Rs 40 lakhs.
The association’s information & publicity secretary, Rinchin Khandu, informed that the association called off the boycott on Tuesday.
