IGNOU confers degrees

NAHARLAGUN, Apr 3: Twenty-six students received their degrees and another 2,828 students were awarded their degrees in absentia during the convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) held here on Wednesday.
The IGNOU held its 32nd convocation on the same day, with the main function held at the university’s headquarters in New Delhi. Vice President of India, M Venkaiah Naidu, attended the function in Delhi and delivered the convocation address.
Convocation functions were simultaneously held at all the 57 regional centres of the university, and at its international centres and partner institutes.
