ITANAGAR, Apr 16: The Chukhu Welfare Society (CWS) in a release on Tuesday strongly condemned the 11 April assault on Kra Daadi DHO Chukhu Kapa while he was performing his duty as the sector magistrate for five polling stations under the Palin assembly constituency, and requested the law enforcing agency to award stringent punishment to those involved in the attack.
The CWS also condemned the Kra Daadi district election officer and the returning officer for their alleged failure to provide adequate security to the magisterial officials on duty, and sought strict disciplinary action against the two officers within seven days.
