Dear Editor,
I would like to appreciate the efforts of the capital complex administration, and the city police led by the SP in particular, for banning housie and gambling activities in the twin capital cities.
Housie/gambling has become a social menace, and a majority of the populace, irrespective of age, is addicted to it. Ironically, gambling attracts more young boys and girls.
The authority needs to strictly take action against all the violators, no matter who they are. Selectively taking action will never stop this evil game; the authority needs to use an iron hand to stop it.
I request the residents of the capital to cooperate with our administration and the police in curbing this social menace.
