DAPORIJO, Jun 18: Administrative officers, HoDs, BDOs and field level officials participated in a workshop on satellite-based monitoring and geo-tagging of developmental projects, organised here in Upper Subansiri district by the planning & investment department on Tuesday.
The workshop was aimed at providing the participants with firsthand information on the importance and know-how of the mobile application and the web portal for satellite-based monitoring and geo-tagging of projects.
Planning & Investment Director Mokir Eshi Ori highlighted the process of geo-tagging, and informed that the field level staffers have to upload the details of the projects through the mobile application from the project site itself. He said the physical progress and funding sources of the projects can be checked through the web portal.
SRSAC technical consultant Vikram Singh presented a demonstration on the mobile application and the web portal. (DIPRO)
