AALO, Jul 9: West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan has called for imparting training on safety measures, along with mock drills, at all the schools in the district at the earliest.
During a meeting with the DDSE and the DDMO here on Tuesday, the DC said basic safety equipment like fire extinguishers should be kept in all the schools in the district.
Sachan also stressed on early constituting of district advisory committees and school advisory committees “to start training programmes in all schools by the DDMO and other stakeholders, within a timeframe, as per the government’s directive.”
DDMO Nima Dorjee and BEO Irackson Tajom also shared their views on implementing safety measures in all the schools of the district. (DIPRO)
