DAPORIJO, Aug 2: A cleanliness drive under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) was organized at the GHSS campus here in Upper Subansiri district on Tuesday.
Besides students, all four legislators of the district joined the drive, which was initiated by the district BJP unit.
Saplings were also planted in the school campus during the drive. The legislators later inspected the school, and assured to develop new infrastructure.
Interacting with the students, Tourism Minister Nakap Nalo and Taliha MLA Nyato Rigia advised them to keep their school’s surroundings clean and make cleanliness a way of life.
