ITANAGAR, Sep 19: The All Arunachal Pradesh Polytechnic Teachers’ Association (AAPTA) has welcomed the state cabinet’s approval to implement the 7th CPC’s pay scale recommendation for the lecturers and librarians of the government polytechnics of the state.
The lecturers and librarians of the polytechnics were deprived of the 7th CPC pay scales as the All India Council for Technical Education had failed to issue the gazette notification before 1 March, 2019.
In a press release, the AAPPTA expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Education Minister Taba Tedir, and appealed to the state government to release the arrears at one go.
The state cabinet in its sitting held here on Tuesday had given cabinet approval for implementation of the 7th CPC recommendation with effect from 1 January, 2016.
