Org draws DC’s attention towards issues affecting remote circles

KOLORIANG, Oct 15: The Kurung Kumey unit of the Arunachal Anti-Corruption Sena (AACS-KKDU) has drawn the attention of the Kurung Kumey district administration towards the issues affecting the people of remote Sarli and newly-created Polosang circles.
In a memorandum submitted to the Kurung Kumey deputy commissioner recently, the organization claimed misuse of public fund regarding construction of a new road under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) and irregularities in supply of medicine by drug wholesalers in the district.
The organization has also alleged improper distribution of PDS/ ration commodities to targeted beneficiaries of the district.
The AACS-KKDU also claimed that the said areas also face frequent interruption of electricity supply and receive only 7 to 10 days of power supply within a month.
