ITANAGAR, Oct 31: The All Kamle District Contractor’s Welfare Association in a representation to the Ziro (Lower Subansiri) PWD division EE on Tuesday requested him to not issue tender documents against the recently published NIT for Package No ZD/RSD/IDND/19020/46 for c/o residential quarters in Raga, under the Ziro PWD division, to firms or contractors that are not eligible as per the recently amended Arunachal Pradesh District Based Entrepreneurs & Professionals (Incentives) Development and Promotional) Act, 2015.
Citing the newly amended act, vide notification No SPWD/W-66/2012, dated 01/08/2018, the AKDCWA said, “As per the amended act, a contractor or firm having three works in hand shall not be eligible to apply for tender papers or participate in the NIT. He/she must make a declaration, to be executed in an affidavit, that he/she is not engaged in more than two tender works under the state government.”
