After SSA, now the staff working under Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA), have alleged that they are not being paid their salaries for the last many months. They have written to the director of agriculture seeking his urgent intervention. It is unfortunate that the employees are being forced to beg for their own hard earned money. The teachers working under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) are also often forced to take the path of agitation demanding their salaries.
The delay in paying salaries to its own employees should ashamed the state government. How can government expect the employees to be sincere and dedicated if it fails to pay them salaries on time?
It is to be noted that, this issue of non-payment of salary on time is not a new problem, especially for the teachers working under SSA and RMSA. They have to constantly battle for their survival. Every year same problem is repeated and government has simply failed to find out a solution. It is not a good sign to see employees taking the path of agitation to demand their own hard earned money. The state government should take these issues seriously and work out a long term plan to avoid these kinds of situation.
