BAM, Apr 21: The West Siang Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) on Tuesday distributed high-quality groundnut and hybrid maize seeds among the villagers here in Leparada district, under the ‘Mera Gaon, Mera Gaurav’ programme.
The KVK’s Assistant Chief Technical Officer [Plant Genetics & Breeding], Dr Rita Nongthombam, educated the farmers on the techniques of producing quality seeds of different varieties of pulses, their health benefits, and the importance of growing and intercropping pulses.
