RONO HILLS, Sep 6: The six-day online refresher course for the coaches and instructors of the Sports Authority of Arunachal and the directorate of sports, which was organized by the Rajiv Gandhi University’s (RGU) physical education department’s Centre of Excellence for Sports Science, concluded on 5 September.
Renowned experts from across the country delivered lectures on various topics related to sports science, high performance sports, coaching philosophy, psychological aspect of performance, talent identification, female athletes and management of sports injuries, etc.
On the final day, the experts discussed about the relevance of speed training and endurance training in different sports and at different levels.
The participating coaches and trainers also shared their views on the course and appreciated the organizers, informed organizing committee chairman and HoD Dr Anil Mili.
