The MLA also inaugurated the Chief Minister’s White Revolution Scheme in Namsai district by distributing 16 high-yielding milch cows to dairy entrepreneurs.
He informed that “very soon a farmers-producers organization on dairy will be formed and a mini-milk processing unit will be made functional to tap the district’s potential in this promising sector.”
The DC requested the veterinarians of the district to provide on time the services required by farmers.
DVO Dr K Sarmah informed that 119 beneficiaries will be assisted under the CM’s White Revolution Scheme “and a mini-milk plant with integrated model dairy farm on cooperative module will be established in the district under Article 275 (1) scheme of the ministry of tribal affairs.”
