ITANAGAR, 6 Apr: The All Arunachal Pradesh Gorkha Welfare Society (AAPGWS) president Sanu Tamang on Monday flagged off an ambulance procured by contribution of its members at its ‘H’ Sector office here.
Speaking to the press, Tamang informed that for long the society felt the need for an ambulance and a guesthouse in the state capital to cater to the needs of the Gorkha community.
“The long-felt demand has been fulfilled by the active support and cooperation of the executive members and community members spread across the state. A guest house has been started to support and help the members who are in need for accommodation during their visit to the state capital. The start of ambulance service is another step to help those in need of medical attention,” he said.
