NAHARLAGUN, 19 Apr: Health Minister Alo Libang launched telemedicine services from the TRIHMS TeleHub here through the eSanjeevani OPD platform on Monday, in the presence of Health Services Director Dr M Lego, TRIHMS Director Dr Moji Jini, DFW Dr Emi Rumi and others.
The minister appealed to all to avail the tele-consultation services from the comfort of their homes through the eSanjeevani OPD platform, which can be downloaded from Google Play Store.
Libang also released a promotional video on tele-consultation services provided by TRIHMS to all health and wellness centres and individuals that needed healthcare services.
IDSP State Surveillance Officer Dr L Jampa informed that eSanjeevani operates on the “hub and spoke model, with the telemedicine hub in TRIHMS.” Doctors and specialists are available for consultation on the hub, he said.
Dr Jini informed about the tele-consultation services provided so far using eSanjeevani. The eSanjeevani OPD platform was launched by the union health & family welfare ministry under the national tele-consultation service, he said.
“It will be available on all weekdays from 10 am to 12 pm initially. The timing will be increased as and when required,” Dr Jini said.
Dr Lego said that everyone in need of healthcare services can avail tele-consultation services using the eSanjeevani OPD. The platform is available as a mobile app, eSanjeevaniOPD.
