ITANAGAR, 12 May: Twenty-five solar street lights were installed at the Indira Gandhi Park here on Wednesday through a collaborative programme of the Capital district administration and the APEDA under the Hamara Arunachal Abhiyan.
Capital Deputy Commissioner Talo Potom was hopeful that with the installation of street lights, unscrupulous activities inside the park would be kept at bay.
He further requested the denizens of Itanagar capital complex to refrain from causing any damage to the lights “as it would not only benefit those who come there to stroll, walk or exercise but will also provide safety to everyone passing through the area.”
EAC Datum Gadi, who facilitated the solar light installation, informed that solar high mast lights will also be installed soon at the park. (DIPRO)
