NAHARLAGUN, 29 May: NGO Friends For Life organized a voluntary blood donation camp at Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) here on Saturday.
The NGO informed that 20 volunteers, including seven women, turned up for the camp, out of whom 14 could donate blood.
“This camp was organized immediately after getting information about the shortage of blood in the blood banks due to the pandemic,” said the NGO’s chairperson, Toku Natung Nabam.
While thanking all the volunteers for turning up for the camp and donating blood despite the pandemic, she exhorted the people to come forward and donate blood and save lives during this crucial time.
