RAGA, 15 Nov: Forty-nine people were vaccinated with the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine and five people were vaccinated with the second dose during an ‘awareness and outreach camp on immunization (RI & Covid-19) and maternal health’ organized by the Kamle District Health Society (DHS) at Yom village on 15 November.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC Atin Padung requested all eligible persons to take their Covid vaccine without any fear.
DMO Dr Nani Rika created awareness on Covid-19 immunization, the maternal health programme of the department, and the Har Ghar Dastak Abhiyan. CDPO Kina Takka urged the PRI leaders, GBs, religious leaders and intellectuals of the area to be partners in the development of their area.
DRCHO Dr Kapu Sopin and Kamporijo-I ZPM Rakhe Taro also spoke.
Earlier, on 14 November, the DHS, led by the DRCHO, organized a camp at Kemliko village in Raga circle, in which 12 persons got their first dose and eight persons received their second dose of the Covid vaccine. (DIPRO)
