ZIRO, 5 Feb: Diire zilla segment became the champion of the ‘Inter-Zilla Volleyball Tournament of Ziro-I’, organized as part of the golden jubilee celebration of the government secondary school in Tajang in Lower Subansiri district.
Hija zilla segment was the runner-up, and Diibo North zilla segment won the ‘fair play team’ award.
Nada Tari of Diire was declared the best player of the tournament. Pura Sai of Hija team and Kima Tallang of Diire team were declared the best manager and coach, respectively.
