BASAR, 11 Apr: The ICAR’s regional centre here in Leparada district organised a ‘Training-cum-input distribution programme’ at Kullung village on Monday.
During the programme, which was chaired by GPC Gollo Tana, the regional centre’s Joint Director Dr H Kalita presented a brief on the technologies developed by the ICAR for livelihood improvement, and requested all the farmers to learn and adopt them.
Horticulture scientist Dr Thejangulie Angami spoke on the scientific agro-techniques of Kharif vegetable crops and the methods of application of different organic inputs that were distributed.
Vegetables seeds were later distributed among the farmers of the village.
