ITANAGAR, 10 Jun: Three matches were played on the 4th day of the Capital Complex Dree Festival Celebration Football Tournament here on Friday.
In the open category, Haaki Ajing FC won against Miichi United FC by 3-0 goals. Landi Millo scored a brace, while Ligang Bungu chipped in with one. Landi Millo was declared the ‘hero of the match’.
In the second match, Ball Tulla Z FC defeated Khokhun C FC in the veteran category by 6-0 goals. Dusu Tagyung, Lod Chama and Tamo Tagia scored two goals each. Dusu Tagyung of Ball Tulla Z was declared the ‘hero of the match’.
In the third and last match, Khokhun A FC defeated Mikho-Bo FC by 3-1 goals. Two early goals from Khokhun FC in the beginning of the match gave a huge boost to the team’s morale in an otherwise well-balanced match. Mikho-Bo scored one in the second half, courtesy of a fine finish by Hibu Manya, but a late penalty shot converted by Nada Apa prevented a draw. Padi Tago, the goalkeeper of Khokhun A FC, was declared the ‘hero of the match’.
