Epithet of Mother

Kalyan Kumar Dutta
VKV PTC Banderdewa

I say to the Moon
You are beautiful
But I say to my mother
Your face is more beautiful
than the Moon.

I say to the rose
You are so sweet
But I say to my mother
Your love is sweeter
than the rose.

I say to the diamond
You are so bright
But I say to my mother
Your smile is brighter
than the diamond.

I say to the birds
You sing so melodious
But I say to my mother
Your humming is more melodious
than the birds.

I say to the temple
You are a sign of reverence
But I say to my mother
Your presence in the house is enough
than the temple.

I say to the God
You are so gracious
But I say to my mother
Your deeds are more gracious
than God.
