P/Pare, E/ Siang, Lohit emerge winners of fifth day
TEZU, 28 Dec: On the fifth day of the ongoing under 17 boys’ & girls’ State-Level School Games Kho-Kho Tournament 2022-23 being played at Jubilee Ground here in Lohit district, Papum Pare defeated East Kameng by (11 – 09) 2 points & one turn while, East Siang defeated Lohit by (13 – 11) 2 points & one turn in the girls’ category.
In the boys’ category, Lohit defeated Namsai by (12 – 09) 3 points & one turn while East Siang defeated Anjaw by (14 – 03) 11 points & one turn.
The winners of the third position match were Namsai and Lohit in the boys’ and girls’ categories respectively.
The final match will be played between the boys’ team of Lohit and East Siang and the girls’ team of Papum Pare and East Siang. (DIPRO)
