All I wonder

I wonder why the young energetic soul
Turned into an unhappy dull one
What was the wrong what she had done?
I wonder why the cheerful happy angel
Got lost in the ocean of disgrace and sorrow
That she could not see tomorrow.
I wonder how she kept calm in fatal situations
When most people would have felt ashamed
When the society makes one feel she is damned.
I wonder how she lived in such a painful life
Ignoring and cutting everything like a sword
Alas! At the end she couldn’t speak a word.
I wonder why she left me behind alone
With possessions and a huge pile of sorrow
I wish the bygone time I could borrow
I wonder why I couldn’t understand her
Thinking she was to be strict and wild
All she wanted was the happiness of her child
I wonder when and what was her last word
She used to always bear a graceful smile
The river of her tears flowed down a smile.
