The Trust

Trust is like a sticker delicate and fine
Adheres with a bond purely divine.
Its grip is firm when newly placed
But tampered hold is slightly displaced.

Like adhesive it clings with care
Yet peeling edges beware, beware!
Each tear weakens the adhesive link,
Diminishing strength in every blink.

With time and patience it may adhere,
Though never as tightly we fear.
Once unglued, it is hard to restore
The confidence it held before.

To build it anew, a daunting task
Mending what is torn, an intricate ask.
Layers once solid, now worn thin
Rebuilding trust takes time to begin.

A sticker’s remnants may leave a trace
Yet, trust can rekindle with grace.
A patchwork bond, not as it was
But still a connection without pause.

Handle with care this fragile glue
For trust’s resilience depends on you.
Once peeled it might find a way
But the strength of bond may sway astray.

So cherish trust its fragile hold
For once it is tarnished truths unfold.
Nurture it gently do not let it fray
For trust is a sticker that may find its way.
