Power of Words

— Kalyan Kumar Dutta
VKV Banderdewa

In the realm of language, a mighty force,
Words can wound, or chart a healing course.
A double-edged sword, sharp and keen,
A weapon wielded, yet also serene.

Crafted as art, in eloquence lies,
The potential to uplift or chastise.
Listen to the whispers, the tales they tell,
A symphony of language, in which we dwell.

Learn the rhythm, the cadence of speech,
Words have the power to inspire or breach.
A canvas of thoughts, painted with care,
Expressions that linger, suspended in air.

For every syllable, a consequence true,
They shape perceptions, old and anew.
Choose them wisely, a responsibility profound,
In each sentence, a world is spun around.

In the symposium of voices, let empathy soar,
Understanding and connection, forevermore.
Words can mend wounds, bridge divides,
A call for unity, where compassion resides.

So, in the lexicon of life, let love unfurl,
Speak with kindness, let compassion swirl.
For in the tapestry of existence, it’s absurd,
The profound truth—words shape our world.
