The Bonds We Share

-Kalyan Kumar Dutta
VKV PTC Banderdewa

In life we stumble we make mistakes
Apologies given forgiveness we take.
But trust once shattered is hard to mend
A fragile bridge difficult to ascend.

Forgiving comes easy a simple deed
But trusting again oh how it does impede.
The heart remembers the mind replays
The wounds of betrayal in endless arrays.

We navigate life’s twists and turns
Learning, growing as each lesson we discern.
Yet in our journey one thing we must cherish
The bonds of trust, they never perish.

So let us tread with care, mindful of our word
For trust once lost is seldom restored.
In the tapestry of life, let our threads be true
For trust is the glue that binds me to you.

Let us strive to be honest in all that we do
For trust is the cornerstone strong and true.
And though we may falter, and sometimes fail
Let us rebuild trust with each passing tale.

For sorry may heal mistakes can be forgiven
But trust once broken is a bridge riven.
So let us treasure the trust we hold dear
For in its absence there is naught but fear.

In life’s grand symphony let trust be our song
Together we will harmonize, together we will be strong.
For in the end it is not wealth or fame we will rue
But the trust we have built me and you.
