LIKABALI, 13 Aug: Lower Siang Deputy Commissioner Rujjum Rakshap urged the government officials to play a pivotal role in bringing about a drug-free society.
After launching the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan and administering pledge to the government officials to fight against the drug menace, the DC on Tuesdayurged every official to “set a good example for the youths of the district by shunning drugs and addictive substances for a strong and vibrant Bharat.”
He said that “the tricolour is our identity as an independent country and it is our prime responsibility to honour and respect it.”
The abhiyan will cover every nook and corner of the district, touch every household of the villages, and culminate at the Chidu Chigo ground in Likabali on Independence Day. (DIPRO)
