NAHARLAGUN, 23 Dec: Abotani Vidya Niketan (AVN), which is affiliated with the Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti (ASVS) and Vidya Bharati, opened a Sanskar Kendra in Pachin Colony here on Monday.
Addressing the inaugural function, Ward 14 Corporator Gyamar Tuvin spoke about the importance of value-based education and how such initiatives not only benefit children academically but also instil cultural and moral values.
“The Sanskar Kendra will serve as a platform for parents to actively participate in their children’s education, enhancing their understanding of learning methodologies and skill development,” he said.
Earlier, ASVS office secretary Sonu Rai said that the Sanskar Kendra would promote value-oriented education and community engagement, “reflecting Vidya Bharati’s mission to strengthen cultural heritage while enhancing academic excellence.”
Among others, AVN Pachin SMC member Tame Rajen, Ward 14 member Kipa Bada, KGBVs (Siang and E/Siang) Assistant Project Coordinator Olut Rukbo, and AVN principal Sarvesh Kumar Pathak were present at the function.
