Editor,
Through your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) regarding the prolonged delay in the declaration of the Combined Secondary Level Examination (CSLE) results.
The examination was conducted on 10 November, 2024; the PST/PET was completed on 30 November; the documents were verified on 19 December; and finally the medical fitness test was conducted on 21 January, 2025. It is to be noted that the whole process took around three months, and it has been around three weeks after the completion of all due processes.
It is truly said, “It takes a lot of time and effort to gain trust and a little mistake to lose it all.” The delay has caused significant anxiety and uncertainty among the candidates, who are waiting to know about their performance and take the next steps in their career paths. The extended wait is affecting the career planning and future opportunities of many students who have already invested time, effort and resources in preparing for this exam.
In addition, there has been no official communication from the APSSB regarding the reasons for the delay. It has not even announced a tentative date for the declaration of results. We believe it is important for the board to provide transparency and clarity in this matter, so that the candidates can make informed decisions regarding their professional and academic futures.
I kindly request the APSSB to expedite the process of result declaration and provide the much-needed clarity to the affected candidates. An official update from the board on this issue would not only help ease the anxiety of the candidates but also restore faith in the transparency and efficiency of the examination processes.
I trust that the authorities concerned will look into this matter urgently.
A long-suffering candidate
