NE techno-cultural fest ‘ICARIA’ begins

AGARTALA, 27 Mar: The four-day annual techno-cultural festival of the ICFAI University, ‘ICARIA 2K25’,was inaugurated on Wednesday.

Addressing the inaugural function of the festival, Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ajit Sukla Das said that such kind of techno-cultural festivals would help the participants to enhance their talent, building skills and teamwork.

“ICARIA event is one of the largest techno-cultural fests of Northeast India among educational institutions over the years and definitely it will receive greater heights by its name and fame,” he said.

Tripura Tourism Department Deputy Director Sushil Kr Reang while addressing the gathering said that “this type of techno-festival provides a great platform of all types of talented youths.”

National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development General Manager Anil Kotmire highlighted the difference between techno-festival and other students’ gathering.

ICFAI University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Biplab Halder briefly explained the programme.

Around 824 students from various schools, colleges and universities will be participating in various competitions during the next three days.
