I wish to draw attention towards the problem of improper waste disposal in Itanagar and Naharlagun areas. Waste disposal is a critical aspect of modern society, impacting public health, environmental sustainability, and overall quality of life.
I am a resident of Naharlagun, and our neighbourhood is plagued by filthy garbage. The streets are dirty and smelly, and the people appear to be lacking civic awareness. Such a situation can cause a slew of diseases. It is our responsibility to keep the area clean.
Improper waste disposal poses significant threats to the environment and human health. When waste is not managed responsibly, it can result in land, water and air pollution, and spread of diseases.
