We would like to appeal to the chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission to kindly conduct a preliminary examination for shortlisting candidates for the viva voce stage for assistant professor recruitment, instead of relying solely on API criteria.
While academic achievements are important, the API-based system does not always ensure equal opportunity to all NET and SLET qualified candidates. Conducting a prelims examination would provide a fair, transparent, and merit-based method to shortlist candidates for viva voce.
We sincerely hope the commission will consider this request in the interest of justice, transparency, and equal opportunity.
