Editor,
I would like to draw the attention of the education department of Arunachal Pradesh towards the uncertainty surrounding the continuation of the MMSKY scheme.
Despite the academic session beginning earlier this year as per the newly published schedule, no official continuation order for MMSKY has been issued so far. This has created a state of confusion among teachers, particularly those serving in PGT posts, regarding whether the scheme will continue or not.
Many schools are already facing an acute shortage of staff, and the absence of MMSKY teachers is severely affecting the smooth functioning of academic activities. Furthermore, teachers are in a dilemma about whether to continue their duties without an official extension order, especially with concerns regarding remuneration after 31 March, when the previous term officially ended.
This uncertainty is causing significant stress and operational challenges in schools. Therefore, I humbly request the authorities concerned in the education department to kindly clarify the status of the MMSKY scheme at the earliest and issue the continuation order. This is particularly important as the PGT mains examination results are yet to be declared.
I sincerely hope that the authorities will take prompt action to address this issue in the interest of both teachers and students.
