Free health camp conducted at Raga and Yorkum

RAGA/YORKUM, Nov 28: Hundreds benefitted from a two-day long free mega health camp, organized by the Raga Area Employees Welfare Association (RAEWA) and Kapu Kabak Youth Foundation (KKYF), in collaboration with Rama Krishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar and District Health Society, Ziro at Raga and Yorkum on November 26 and 27 last respectively.
At Raga, of the 502 patients, nine were referred to the Gyati Takka General Hospital for cataract surgery. SMO, Dr Kapu Sopin and the organizer of the health camp escorted the patients to Ziro for the surgery.
As part of the camp, a cleanliness drive was also organized by the SIRD in Raga Township, wherein Raga ADC, Millo Kojin, WRD EE Kina Temik, President of RAEWA, Likha Kiran Kabak, Deputy Director of SIRD &PR, Maga Mala, ZPM, along with PRI members and general public took part.
At Yorkum, people of Mengi Kabak, Luba, Habung, Radum, Yarkum, Dugi and Dah villages under Kamporijo circle benefitted from the camp. Of the 250 patients, nine were also referred to the Gyati Takka General Hospital, Ziro for cataract surgery.
A team of doctors, including MS Orthopedics Dr Lenin Ligu, MS Obs & Gynecologist Dr Bengia Chirchi, MD Oncologist Dr Leena Ligu Gupta, Ophthalmologist Dr Talum Sorum, Senior Dentist Dr A P Singh, MD Medicine Dr Ram Ratan, SMO Dr Kapu Sopin, MO DPH Dr Kabak Tamar and MO (Ayurvedic) Dr Kabak Yadar attended to the patients.
