JAIRAMPUR, Apr 27: Local MLA Laisam Simai on Monday visited the quarantine facilities being built here in Changlang district for the students returning from outside.
He also took stock of the preparedness of the government hospitals to deal with the pandemic and Covid-19 positive patients, if detected.
Interacting with the GBs of his constituency, Simai advised them to follow the lockdown rules by staying at home. He assured them of all possible help during this difficult situation.
The MLA expressed gratitude to the frontline workers for their contribution in keeping the region safe. He also thanked all those who have contributed to the Jairampur ADC and the CHC in-charge to support their fight against Covid-19.
Earlier, Simai had donated Rs 1 lakh to the local administration and Rs 50,000 to the CHC here, besides helping students stranded outside the subdivision.
