YACHULI, Apr 27: Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Chukhu Takar on Monday inspected the ongoing Trans-Arunachal Highway (TAH) work being undertaken at ANYA Gate, Joram village, Yachuli, Talo and Pania.
The DC appealed to the locals to cooperate with the construction agencies in order to help them complete the work at the earliest.
“Creating hindrance will not only slow the progress of the road but will also retard the development of the area,” the DC said.
He expressed satisfaction over the progress being made by the executing agencies during the lockdown period.
The Joram-Koloriang road Package 1 and 2 under Lower Subansiri district from km 20 to 50 (Talo to Yapap Hogu) is being executed by M/s Brand Eagle (JV) and M/s TK Consortiums. Almost 90 percent of the formation cutting of this stretch has been completed in less than a year.
The Potin-Bopi TAH from km 0.00 to 43.350 (Potin-ANYA Gate, Package I) being executed by M/s Nabam Tulon Construction has seen work progress of around 8 kms within two months, while the Potin-Bopi TAH from km 43 to 78 (ANYA Gate to Pamluk, Package II) being executed by M/s Puna Hinda Construction has seen completion of about 40 percent of formation cutting in two months.
