AHDC chairman conferred National Corona Warrior Award

ZIRO, May 29: All Hong Development Committee (AHDC) chairman Bullo Babu has been conferred with ‘National Corona Warrior Award’ by the Anti Corruption Foundation of India and the Human Rights International Federation in recognition of his contribution to the society in the fight against Covid-19.
A certificate of appreciation was also presented to the Covid-19 warrior Babu by the Jaipur-based Udaikaushal Foundation.
The All Hong Development Committee acts as the Covid-19 monitoring and prevention committee for Hong village.
Apart from mobilizing volunteers to check the entry and exit gates of Hong village here in Lower Subansiri district, constituting
flying squads and surveillance teams at the village level to ensure that people follow home quarantine rules in letter and spirit, Babu had also provided food to all the migrant labourers and the frontline workers of his area and fuel for the surveillance teams.
“The most important thing is to ensure that our people who have arrived from different parts of the country strictly follow all the SoPs issued by the government. We in the village level will ensure that the people advised for home quarantine strictly abide by it,” Babu, who is also the president of All Niichi Niiti Youth Organization, said.
Meanwhile, in Hari village Hao-Lemba Covid Prevention Committee president Hage Dolo has chaired series of meetings to ensure that the village is safe from Covid-19.
The committee will assist the district administration appointed nodal officers and ASHAs in monitoring the home quarantining of the returnees and surveying the feasibility of home quarantine in Hao-Lemba. (DIPRO)
