ITANAGAR, Dec 19: The Capital Complex District Committee on Tuesday selected Borum Gram Panchayat (GP) under the CM’s Adarsh Gram Yojana.
Addressing the heads of various departments at the district committee meeting, Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner, Prince Dhawan, directed the departments concerned to submit the shelf of works before the next review meeting on 2 February, 2018.
He expressed hope that the ASM and the GP chairperson concerned would actively assist the agencies in the task.
The DRDA has been made the nodal implementing agency for the programme.
The DC asked DRDA Project Director M Loyi to carry out baseline survey and coordinate with the gram panchayat in surveying the existing and proposed assets of the village through geo-technology.
He urged officers of every department to work in a coordinated manner to complete the formalities within the timeframe.
