ITANAGAR, Oct 27: The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), led by its president Ram Tajo, began the first phase of its ‘Samanvay Yatra-2020’ from Tawang on 21 October.
The purpose of the tour is to encourage and coordinate with grassroots workers of the BJYM across the state, and to encourage the younger generation to take part in the nation’s developmental activities.
As part of the tour, the BJYM team held a coordination meeting on 24 October at the circuit house in Bomdila, West Kameng, where Tajo called on BJYM workers to be prepared to face any challenge to strengthen the policies and programmes of both the central and the state governments.
“If necessary, BJYM karyakartas should be ready to face the Chinese PLA to support the Indian Army,” he said, and asserted that the BJP, “which stands as a political party with the ideology of nation first, should be ready to sacrifice for the nation.”
