AALO, 8 Apr: The West Siang Cycle Association conducted an MTB Cycle Ride to commemorate the Mopin celebrations here in West Siang district on 7 April.
Flagging off the event from the Gumin Kiin here, MLA Kento Jini exhorted the cyclists to ride safe and send the message of healthy living to the people through such adventurous sports.
The organizing chairman, Kapil Kamsi highlighted the importance and growing popularity of MTB across the country. He also assured to organise more such events in the future for its promotion in the district.
Gollo Joshep, Tajum Dere and Manindra Singh Dhingra bagged the first, second and third prizes, respectively.
Kago Mobin was declared the most promising rider and Bhupen Likson was the oldest participants. (DIPRO)
