ITANAGAR, 12 May: The Covid-19 monitoring committee of the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Wednesday urged the Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC) to immediately start the disinfection drive in all the micro-containment areas on priority.
It also urged the IMC to sanitize other hazardous areas, such as car servicing centres, butcheries, commercial cattle rearing zones, etc before the ongoing lockdown is over.
The Covid-19 monitoring committee of the APCC on Wednesday held a meeting with the mayor, the deputy mayor, and the nodal officer for the sanitization programme and urged them to expedite the sanitization drive, also by engaging the ward corporators/ members, IMC SHG, and volunteers.
