YINGKIONG, 12 Jul: Health Minister Alo Libang on Monday inaugurated an eye operation theatre and a 10-bedded drug de-addiction centre in the district hospital campus here in Upper Siang district.
Libang said that the state government is trying its best to manage the Covid-19 pandemic but it would be successful only with the cooperation of the public. “The health infrastructure has been upgraded during the pandemic, and it will benefit the general public in the long run,” he said.
The minister also flagged off 108 emergency response ambulance services for the Tuting CHC, the district hospital here, and the health centres in Mariyang and Geku.
He distributed laptops to all the health and wellness centre officers of the district.
