This is to draw the kind attention of all the unemployed engineering graduates (civil) of the state, Water Resources Minister Mama Natung, CM Pema Khandu and all the intellectuals of the state on the recent advertisement No WRD/Coord/Estt-62/2020, dated 20 August, 2020, floated by the WRD for recruiting junior engineer, surveyor and junior estimator on contractual basis for a period of six months.
There are a few points which raise suspicion and need to be considered.
1). The number of vacancies has not been mentioned in the said advertisement by the department concerned.
2). Error in the advertisement number year. It is mentioned as the year 2020, whereas the current year is 2021.
3). Never heard of contractual junior engineer, surveyor and junior estimator being hired within an engineering department.
4). If the department lacks employees, then the APSSB has recently conducted the recruitment for the post of surveyor and junior estimator on 17 and 18 of July. Why didn’t they hand over the vacancies to the APSSB?
5). The task for recruiting junior engineers has been given to the APPSC by the CM.
We all know the modus operandi of walk-in interviews conducted by the departments. Contractual is just an eye wash. I am drawing the kind attention of CM Pema Khandu and Water Resources Minister Mama Natung in this matter, so as not to let Arunachal become ‘The land of khusi marji’.
