PALIN, 30 Nov: Kra Daadi DC Higio Tala emphasized on proper distribution of PDS items under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) in the district.
Tala, who chaired a coordination meeting here on Monday, also said that foodgrains under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana should reach the targeted beneficiaries.
District Food & Civil Supplies Officer Joram Sanku briefed the participants on the schemes being implemented by the department, and highlighted the issues and problems faced in the implementation of the schemes.
Various issues pertaining to effective implementation of the departmental schemes were also discussed in the meeting.
Administrative officers, fair price shop dealers and SK oil retailers of the district attended the meeting. (DIPRO)
