NAHARLAGUN, 11 Apr: The officers and staff of the District Health Society (DHS) here on Monday bid farewell to NVBDCP joint DHS Dr Kaling Dai, NVBDCP DDHS Dr JK Deori and UDC Sambhunath Das on their retirement.
Dr Dai had joined government service as a JMO in December 1986 at the then general hospital in Pasighat. After serving in various parts of the state, he had been promoted as joint DHS (NVBDCP), in which capacity he resigned on 31 March this year.
Dr Deori had joined government service in 1990 in Dirang. She had been promoted as DDHS in September 2018, and retired in the same capacity on 31 March.
Das joined service as an LDC in March 1988. He had been promoted as UDC in February 2006, and retired on 31 March.
