ITANAGAR, 27 May: Chief Secretary Sharat Chauhan has directed all the deputy commissioners to ensure that there is maximum participation during the interaction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the beneficiaries of flagship schemes of the government of India, from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, on 31 May.
During a meeting held in this regard on Friday, Chauhan said that the DCs “should not merely reach out to those invited for the interactions, but maximum effort should be made to reach out to a much larger number of beneficiaries who have been benefitted by different schemes, programmes and aspirant citizens.”
He advised the districts to “take up pre-event and post-event communication activities relating to the event.” He also advised “proper documentation of testimonials by the beneficiaries on electronic, print and social media in the form of short articles and video clips, describing the change and improvement in ease of living.”
